Silk screening is screen printing: ink is pushed through a stencil on a fine mesh (once silk, now polyester) onto the shirt, one screen per color. Precision Graphics is a family-owned silk screening shop at 1715 W 4th St, Tempe, Arizona 85281, serving Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert since 1981. T-shirts, hoodies and team apparel are silk screened in-house with plastisol and water-based inks, 1 to 6 colors, front, back and sleeves, with a 12-piece minimum per design; smaller runs and full-color art are printed with DTF transfers in the same building with no minimum. Blank tees start at $5.55, a digital proof is emailed before printing, and orders are finished 7 to 10 business days after approval, with walk-in, pickup, Valley delivery and nationwide shipping.
Whatever you call it, the shop you are looking for coats a screen with emulsion, burns your art into it, pulls ink through it onto the shirt and cures the ink in a dryer. We have run that process in Tempe for 45 years; the mesh changed from silk to polyester decades ago and the name stuck.
The price on each card is the blank tee from our catalog today. Silk screen printing is added per shirt and depends on how many ink colors, how many print locations and how many shirts; it drops at 12, 24, 72 and 144. Tap "Order this" to pick a color and size on the product page, or send the art and a count for an exact per-shirt price on any of them.

All three run in this building, so we recommend the method for the art, the shirt and the quantity rather than the one we happen to sell. The short version: silk screen for volume and simple color, DTF for full color and small runs, embroidery for polos and caps.

Most "silk screening near me" results are a phone number and a stock photo. This is the actual shop: the silk screen presses, the DTF line, the embroidery floor and the showroom at 1715 W 4th St. Everything in the video is what your shirts run on. More on the Precision Graphics YouTube channel.
Need embroidery too? Polos, caps and jackets are embroidered in the same building, so a uniform order goes on one proof. See embroidery close to me.

"I found Precision Graphics and spoke to Julie. I immediately sensed the difference in her customer service. They took care of my order and completed it faster than promised. I highly recommend Precision Graphics if you are looking for branded products done right."
"We used another company for our uniforms and swag before we found Precision Graphics but they were always making mistakes. We gave PG a shot at our business and they won us over. Their timelines are reasonable and they never say they can do something they will not follow through with."
"Arizona Precision Graphics did an excellent job with my custom order. My design was complicated and I had a strict deadline, but I received the items with time to spare. The staff was available to answer all my questions via phone and email."
Yes. Silk screening is the original name for screen printing: the mesh stretched over the frame used to be silk, and today it is polyester, but the process is identical. Ink is pushed through a stencil on the mesh onto the shirt, one screen per color. If you searched silk screening, silk screen printing or screen printing, you are looking for the same shop and the same service, and Precision Graphics in Tempe has done it since 1981.
Start with the blank: the 22 tees on this page run $5.55 to $16.73 each before ink, and the Port and Company PC54 most crews order is $5.55. The silk screen print is priced by the number of ink colors, the number of print locations and the quantity, so a one-color front on 24 tees costs far less per shirt than a four-color front and back on 12. Send the art and a count through the quote form and you get an exact per-shirt price, usually the same business day.
12 pieces per design, because each color is burned to its own screen and set up on press. Under 12, or for full-color art, we print the same shirts with DTF transfers in the same building with no minimum, so a run of 6 is still a real order here; the quote tells you which method we recommend.
Blanks we stock arrive from the distributor in 2 to 5 business days and printing is typically finished 7 to 10 business days after you approve the digital proof. Rush production is available for events, tournaments and company dates; tell us the day you need them in the quote and we confirm before you commit.

Either. Most Phoenix-metro customers approve the proof by email and pick up or get delivery; we also ship finished orders anywhere in Arizona and the US. Nobody has to drive to Tempe to order, but the showroom is open if you want to.
Usually. Bring the tees in and we check the fabric and the print area; cotton and cotton blends print best, and polyester needs a low-bleed ink we also run. We cannot replace a customer-supplied shirt if a print fails, which is rare, so for larger runs we recommend our blanks.
Vector art (AI, EPS, PDF) with the ink colors named is ideal. A clean, high-resolution PNG or JPG works for most logos, and our art department separates colors and burns the screens; Pantone matching is included in the proof.
Hoodies, long sleeves, polos, hi-vis safety shirts, jerseys, shorts, joggers, tote bags and even neck labels. Hats and polos with small logos usually look better embroidered, and we do that in the same building. If it is flat enough to hold on a press, it can be silk screened; ask in the quote.
Yes. Screens are coated, burned, pressed and cured on our own equipment at 1715 W 4th St, next to the embroidery and DTF floors. Nothing is brokered out, which is why reorders match and rush dates hold.
